Apologies to those that have been following the blog with no recent updates. I have talked to Alison and Bo each day since I left, and they seem to be doing OK.
It sounds as if Bo is getting excited about their upcoming plane trip (48 hours from now).
A few interesting notes about their trip over the past 48 hours -
- Bo has really taken advantage of the free stroller rentals that are offered in their current city. He enjoys being carted around, Alison enjoys putting his mischief on lockdown. Bo is even willing to help Alison carry the stroller up and down steps, etc.
- At dinner the other night Bo was asked where he was from, and he responded that he was from America!
- Bo got loose the other day as Alison was expecting that the guide had Bo's hand when they exited their van. The driver pointed Alison and the guide into the hotel lobby, so they went in to find him. It ended up that Bo had not gone inside as initially thought, and was running on the sidewalk to another hotel entrance. He was very disappointed to find that Alison and the guide did not follow him, but thankfully the driver came across Bo on the sidewalk.
- Bo was very happy to tell the substitute guide yesterday that he was a 'good-boy' - Alison was under the impression that he was flirting with her because with all of the other guides he was very happy to respond that he was a 'bad boy'.
- Bo and Alison seem to be doing very well with communication, and the new guide seems to be much more helpful in regards to translating what Bo is saying.
I am very anxious to see them on Wednesday evening, and we may get an update from Alison in the meantime, depending if Bo's Mulan or Finding Nemo viewing interferes with her updates.
